Services / Mobile App Design

SaaS that works
in a thumb's reach.

Your product works on desktop. On mobile it's a shrunken, frustrating version of itself. A phone isn't a small screen - it's a different context, and it needs a different design.

The trap

Most SaaS mobile apps fail the same way: someone crammed the desktop feature set onto a phone. But mobile users want different things - quick checks, notifications, one key action - not your entire dashboard. We design for what people actually do on mobile, leave the rest where it belongs, and can build it in Flutter or native so it ships as designed.

The design problem

Mobile is a context, not a smaller canvas.

We prioritise what matters on the device, design feedback and recovery states, and make the interaction feel natural for how and where the product is used.

we've heard this before

Sound familiar

"Our mobile app is just the website, squeezed."

"Users install it, struggle once, and never open it again."

"The core action takes five taps and two mis-taps."

"We don't even know which features belong on mobile."

Who hires us for this

The brief changes by role.
The need for clarity does not.

We work with the person accountable for the decision and bring users and implementation teams into the right moments.

01

App founder

You need to validate and launch a mobile product.

Design the core journey before code.

02

SaaS product team

Customers need a focused companion app.

Prioritise mobile jobs.

03

Digital product lead

An existing app has retention problems.

Redesign moments affecting repeat use.

What you get

A complete path from uncertainty to implementation.

The depth adapts to your product stage and the decision the work must support.

01

Mobile UX strategy

Which jobs belong on mobile, and the flows that make them effortless.

02

Native UI design

iOS and Android patterns done right, not a hybrid compromise.

03

Thumb-zone layouts

Key actions where thumbs reach, not where desktop habits put them.

04

Interaction & motion

Gestures and feedback that make it feel native, not wrapped.

05

Prototype & test

Clickable prototype tested on real devices before code.

06

Build

We can develop it in Flutter or native, so design and code stay in sync.

A fit if

  • Your desktop product needs a real mobile experience
  • Mobile users behave differently than desktop
  • You want native quality, not a wrapped web view
  • You're launching a mobile-first product

Not the right time if

  • You just need the website responsive
  • Your users never touch mobile
  • You want it pixel-identical to desktop

Quick answers

Before you ask.

What does the 3-day trial include?

We design one key mobile screen or flow so you see the approach. No card, keep the work.

Native or cross-platform?

Depends on your product and budget. We design for native patterns either way, and build in Flutter for one codebase or native where it matters.

Do you design and build, or just design?

Both. We can hand off to your mobile engineers or build it ourselves.

What about a responsive web app instead?

Sometimes that's the right call, and we'll say so. A native app should earn its place.

How much does it cost?

Pods start at $3,000/mo. Fixed-scope mobile projects are quoted after we scope which features belong on the phone.
