Services / UX Research

Stop guessing what users actually do.

You have opinions about why users drop. Your co-founder has different ones. Research settles it with evidence before you spend a quarter building the wrong thing.

most teams

The trap

Most teams do research backwards. They build first, then look for data to justify what they already shipped. We run it before the money gets spent: watch real users hit real friction, map where they drop, and hand you findings ranked by impact. The cheapest feature is the one you decided not to build.

The design problem

Nobody agrees why users drop off - and guessing is expensive.

Every hesitation has a cause: an unclear label, a broken expectation, a missing cue. We don't guess at it or theorize in a meeting - we watch real users hit real friction, then hand you the reason, ranked by impact.

we've heard this before

Sound familiar

We argue about what users want in every product meeting.

We shipped the feature they asked for. Nobody uses it.

Our roadmap is really just the founder's hunches.

We have analytics but no idea why the numbers move.

Who hires us for this

The brief changes by role.
The need for clarity does not.

We work with the person accountable for the decision and bring users and implementation teams into the right moments.

01

SaaS founder

You and your co-founder disagree about why users drop off.

Get evidence that settles it, not another opinion in the mix.

02

Head of Product

The roadmap is really just a stack of hunches, sorted by who argued loudest.

Get findings ranked by impact, so priority isn't a debate anymore.

03

Engineering leader

Features ship, get used once, then sit untouched.

Get the "why" upstream, before the next sprint gets spent on the wrong thing.

What you get

A complete path from uncertainty to implementation.

The depth adapts to your product stage and the decision the work must support.

01

User interviews

Structured conversations with real users, synthesized into patterns, not anecdotes.

02

Usability testing

We watch people use your product and mark every hesitation and abandonment.

03

Journey maps

The full path from first touch to habit, with friction points marked.

04

Analytics review

Your funnels and drop-offs read against what users told us.

05

Personas & JTBD

Who your users are and the job they hire your product to do.

06

Ranked findings

Every insight ranked by impact and effort, so you know what to act on first.

A fit if

  • A metric is stuck and nobody agrees why
  • You're about to invest in a big build or redesign
  • You have users we can talk to
  • You want evidence before opinions

Not the right time if

  • You have zero users yet (start with strategy)
  • The decision is already made and unmovable
  • You need it done by Friday

Quick answers

Before you ask.

What does the 3-day trial include?

We take one small real task often a usability pass on a key flow and show you how we work. No card, no commitment.

How is research different from a UX audit?

Research studies your users directly interviews and testing. An audit reviews your product against expert heuristics and analytics. Many teams do research first, then an audit, then design.

How many users do you interview?

For most SaaS studies, 5–8 per role surfaces the majority of patterns. The right participants matter more than the count.

What if we can’t give you user access?

We can recruit participants matching your ICP, or work from your analytics and support tickets.

Do you design the fixes too?

Yes. Research, design and build are one team, so findings become screens — and shipped code without getting lost.
